Paperback Shipping FAQ

Can I ship my order to a PO Box?

Many shipping providers won't deliver to PO Boxes, and we have no control over which provider is assigned to your order. This is why we'd prefer a physical shipping address for all orders. If an order is placed that requests delivery to a PO Box, we'll reach out for a physical address, and if none can be provided, we may need to cancel the order.

How much will I pay in shipping?

It depends on your location, but don't worry—it will be calculated at checkout so you see the full price before finalizing your purchase. Note that if you're typically charged duty fees on products shipped from outside your country, those may be charged upon delivery.

When will my paperback order arrive?

Orders are printed and shipped by one of Bookvault's four global fulfillment centers. Delivery time will vary depending on where the book is printed and where it’s going. Based on the various factors, we can estimate 14-21 days for you to receive your paperback order.

Can I track my order?

We know how important it is to be able to follow the progress of your order, so we’ve enabled shipping options that offer tracking services. When your order is sent out, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email that contains tracking information. If you don’t get this email or it doesn’t have a tracking number, please contact us directly.

When will paperbacks be available for purchase in the EU again?

We’d like nothing more than to resume selling and shipping paperbacks to our EU friends. But recent EU directives have created additional bureaucratic and logistical challenges on our end, and the extra duty fees being levied on packages coming into the EU made purchases cost-prohibitive for customers. So we made the difficult decision to pause selling physical books into this market. We’ll keep an eye on developments in this area and will resume paperback sales should things turn around. In the meantime, if you’re in the EU, you can purchase books from us in PDF or EPUB format or find our paperbacks at these distributors.

Why buy a paperback from you when I can order it elsewhere and get it faster?

This is a great question! There are a few reasons to buy products directly from an author.

·     You’re supporting independent authors and printers rather than big-box entities. Thank you!

·     The author gets paid within days (rather than months).

·     It gives the author more control over their product so they’re not dependent on other distributors and subject to their policies.

·     And, of course, cutting out the middleman ensures that more of the sale goes to the author, as it should.

What if I need to return a book?

You can find this information on our Refunds and Return Policy page.
